Close family gather at Huddersfield Town Hall, in a last ditch attempt to make Liz see sense. They will ultimately fail.
1pm
The deed gets done. She's my wife now Dave.
2pm
The classiest of wedding breakfasts at Huddersfield's finest restaurant, Kebabish.
4pm
Extended family gather at The Sair for drink, chat and frivolity.
7pm
Friends join the gathering at The Sair, to enjoy the drink, chat and frivolity. And music, pizza and cake!
11pm
We get kicked out of The Sair and stagger for taxis.
Let's be honest, we're in our 50s - so it's not like we need a new toaster.
But who doesn't like gifts? So if you're kind enough to want to get us "something", can we be cheeky enough to ask for a donation for our honeymoon fund?
We're literally going to walk into a travel agent after we get married and book somewhere warm and relaxing. That's the kind of crazy kids we are.
Any or all donations very gratefully-received. And we'll even provide a post box on the bar for envelopes stuffed with cash.
And, whatever he might say, no Ross doesn't need you to chip in to buy him a full-size Dalek. We've got nowhere to keep it.
